October 10, 2018, members of ECTIC's Executive Committee and United Way of Erie County had the chance to meet with Mr. Rob Reed, PA Executive Deputy Attorney General for Public Engagement, to discuss local and statewide efforts to become a trauma-informed community.
Mr. Reed is a trauma-informed care advocate and shared his vision to increase trauma awareness and develop a trauma-informed network across the state of Pennsylvania.
United Way of Erie County facilitated the meeting where members from ECTIC's Executive Committee discussed Mr.Reed's state-wide vision for sharing coalition lessons learned, successful strategies, and resources with the PA Attorney General's Office and other counties within the network.
ECTIC members are excited to contribute toward Pennsylvania efforts to increase trauma-informed communities and looking forward to ways that Erie's efforts can be maximized through state-wide collaboration.
